Damn Good Dog a Dogumentary About Uga the Beloved Mascot for the University of Georgia Bulldogs

Damn Good Dog is a "dogumentary" exploring the 48-year history of the Frank W. Seiler family of Savannah and their line of English Bulldogs named Uga. In 1956, newlywed students Sonny and Cecelia started taking their new English Bulldog puppy to Georgia football games to do their part for the University of Georgia's struggling football program. An athlete himself, young Sonny wanted to do anything he could to help promote his beloved Alma Mater. Upon their graduation and ultimate return to Sonny's hometown of Savannah the Seiler's promised Coach Wally Butts and Athletics Promotions Director Dan Magill that their dog Uga now crowned the official mascot would, despite his relocation, faithfully attend every home game in Athens. Little did they know of what they were to begin. The Seiler's story is one of family, dedication and love.
