No directions included, they tell you to watch videos instead. I hate video instructions because things like accents or script errors cause to have to watch multiple times. Clear written directions would be a welcome addition to this kit.I'll admit I bought another kit along with this one because of the complaints about the trim tool in other reviews. I didn't need all the cutting tools in the other kit because this trim tool works flawless. Hold it straight flush to the edge and it leaves a tiny gap like recommended. It adds a little support to the film so it doesn't want to pull back while cutting like happens with a hobby knife.The squirt bottle is nice, but it's just soap and deionized water. This will be enough to do a couple windows but if you need more just Dawn and distilled water

This is probably the best value for your money when it comes to installing any type of film over your door, whether it be for privacy or for business purposes, it has been paramount for me in a sense of the fact that I had tried installing several different coverings over my door to my storefront For privacy reasons and each time I ended up having these air bubbles and this is the only brand that turned out to be the best because it made it very easy for me to ensure that there were no air bubbles because of the design of the scraper for lack of a better term. I purchased the Kespan black/silver 35.4" x 6.5 feet sheet. I used it to cover the center window of our bay window to watch the birds feed and the humming birds feed from our kicthen table. I works perfectly when we get up from the table, or move around in the kitchen, the birds do not see us and scatter like they use too. I highly recommend buying the Gila RTK500 Application kit to do the installation. I forgot to take the picture of this tip, but I laid out the roll, with the protective film side up on the kitchen table took 1 /2" blue painters tape and made 10 rolled pieces, stickyside out, placed 5 on table....started my roll outand pressed on the tape and rolled to the measurement i needed. We purchased this product after looking for alternatives to curtains and creating marks on a wall of a rental space our daughter was using for college. This product appears daunting, but I can assure you it is very easy to install. First, I chose not to use the adhesive spray that came along with the product as I didn’t want issues removing it after the lease had expired. Generously spraying the window to be treated with plain water (after a thorough cleaning) proved to work just as well. The water and static electricity do the trick to keep the treatment on the window even after it dries. I also learned from trial and error that pre-cutting the product provided poor results for me. I bought this kit to tint a few south facing windows in my family room. I purchased the kit because I was looking for a squeegee and figured having the pre-made spray would save me time, along with the knife, and the lint free cloth would be a nice bonus.Pros:- Spray is good- Kit looks good in the packageCons:- Spray can easily be made with soapy water solution if you have a spray bottle, so it's really not necessary- The plastic blade/squeegee is imperfect and ended up leading to severe swirling on my tint (couldn't see it until I was done) This is the major problem, and it was a problem I didn't realize was a thing until after I finished. I purchased this to install Gila UV and privacy tint around my house. The kit includes a bottle of the Gila liquid surfactant spray, squeegee, and very useful cutting tool. If you aren't sure if you want to buy a squeegee or the cutter and are thinking about using something else, I'd definitely suggest using these instead.Pros---The cutter works great for making perfectly straight lines, cutting right against, or even a little inside the metal that wraps around the edge of a home window. It is easy and comfortable to hold.-The squeegee is a good size and works well-- BUT-- the tint must be soaked with the surfactant when you squeegee or else you can scuff or tear the tint.-Surfactant works great, but you need to use A LOT.
