These are awesome! Bought for a trip to Alaska in May. Kept the cold out, great deal of wind (not wind proof but resistant if you will), and kept me warm and dry. We had mixed rain and warm weather and they did great in both. Highly recommend!!

I own lots of merino wool — many short sleeved and long-sleeved tops, several jackets from lightweight to heavy, socks. I own pieces from SmartWool, Icebreaker, Unbound Merino, Darn Tough, and a couple of generic brands on Amazon that are likely from China. Most of it has ranged from expensive to very expensive. I’ve been slowly accumulating merino pieces since the end of 2019. At first I only bought from Smartwool and Icebreaker because I was unsure about the quality of the brands I saw on Amazon. But I started trying out pieces from the few brands here, and Meriwool is my favorite for baselayers. I bought two 250g baselayer tops off Amazon from two different brands recently and the Meriwool top is superior. They are both soft and fit true to size (slightly roomier than Smartwool for reference), both the same price, but the Meriwool is a tighter weave and just feels of higher quality. It is comparable to my Smartwool classic thermal at about half the price. For reference, I ordered a large because my bust is 38.5-40 depending on what bra I’m wearing, but I could have fit in a medium. I also got …

I have a charcoal Meriwool base layer I purchased last winter, love it, has held up and washed beautifully! I usually wear a size small/6 in tops these days, my charcoal shirt in size medium fits close without being tight, so when there was a discounted price recently I purchased two more Meriwool base layers, in black and sky blue heather, both in medium like the charcoal. The black fits perfectly, the blue, however, is too loose for a base layer, more like a true medium top. The blue color is beautiful, unfortunately it’s not available in a small now and I’m going to have to return it - so girls there will be able blue medium available soon😉. Anyway, I LOVE these shirts, just know, sizing apparently varies between colors.

i am 5'7", 140 lbs, 34b, 45 years old. i love this top! the medium fits perfect. i got this with the intention of wearing it hiking, but i love it so much i wear it all the time. it is not itchy like some others i've tried. granted it is still merino wool so it's not soft like cotton would be, but i'm not constantly scratching like some of the other brands. best of all....the sleeves are long!!! thank you! it is so hard for me to find long sleeve tshirts with sleeves that go past my wrist. i also love the curved seams in the front as they add shape and give the illusion of a waist. i got the khaki color and have already ordered the gray/black color. i wish they made this exact same shirt in a lighter weight. i've washed it twice in the washer with other clothes, cold water, and lay flat …

I've had two of these for over a year now, and worn them a lot. I just bought a third because I love them so much. The wool is truly soft, not itchy at all. This is coming from someone who is hyper aware of annoying physical sensations, for context. These shirts have held up very well. They don't become stretched out or oddly shaped like some shirts tend to after being worn multiple times. I've even put them through the dryer a handful of times by mistake and they came out fine. Compared to a new, unworn/unwashed shirt, they are maybe 1/4" shorter in length, so not much shrinkage. I love wearing these under a sweater or sweatshirt in the winter for extra warmth since I tend to always be cold, and often work outside. I grew up with scratchy wool and always thought I was allergic but based on the reviews and some chronic issues with trying to sleep comfortably in varying temperatures at night, I decided to try. it I wish I had tried it sooner. SO comfy. Fits great. Even when I do get too warm or dealing with hormone swings, I'm just damp, not soaked with sweat and feeling gross with the need to change When I'm cold, this warms me up in a cozy way. It's like magic how it regulates temperature and breathes. I love this shirt!!! I have never had a wool "layering" piece before, (I was always a thermal long-johns kinda girl). I'm going to be traveling and a lot of the blog sites recommended a more expensive name brand wool shirt and/or leggings for layering while you travel. I found this one for half the price. I took a chance and I love it! It is soooo soft and comfy. I just know I will go back and buy more. I normally wear between a Xlg and a 1x and I bought the XXL. It fits great, a tad large, but it may shrink. The arms are rather long, but I'm used to that and just fold them up. All in all very happy with my purchase!
