OHMO Slow Feeder Dog Bowl, 5.9" Lick Mat for Dogs, Tree of Life, Sage Green Verde salvia

All the other slow feeders I've tried for my cat didn't work. She would gobble it up like Jabba the Hutt at a Chinese Buffet no matter what. I almost went with the most difficult one, but decided to give the "tree of life" a try. This has made her slow down SO MUCH. It has helped with her eating super fast and then just puking it up five seconds later causing her to have tummy aches. I wish the suction cup on the bottom was better though because she pushes it around the kitchen, but besides that it's the perfect height and roundness for her, and it wasn't too bad of a price. We will probably put it under the automatic feeder we got her (if we can) and see how she does with that.

I love these bowls for my pups! I like to be a little extra and get creative with meal time, and these allow me to keep things interesting. Also perfect if you like to use meal toppers, as the height is great for adding a liquid. And, they wash easily by hand or in the dishwasher. One note- the first week one of my pups chewed off a tab from the bottom, less thick part of the bowl, that helps the suction release. I would just recommend watching aggressive chewers or removing quickly after meals to avoid them chewing the bottom which isn’t as thick and durable.

It definitely helped slow my kitten down from eating too fast. The material isn't too durable. My kitten was biting pieces off of it to try and get to her food. It's more of a size for smaller dogs

I love these bowls and bought 4. Two for the house and 2 for our travel trailer. One of my beagles was eating so fast that she would choke. I had been feeding her by hand for months. Then I got this bowl (for both of my girls). It slows them WAY down, plus they seem to enjoy the game of eating this way. The bowl is small, but has weight to it. The suction bottom is amazing on tile. The silicone washes easily, and is gentle on their mouths and tongues. At first you think the bowl is too small, but the food spreads out easily into the separate compartments. It's perfect, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I wish I'd bought these sooner.

In all my years of having cats I have NEVER had a cat who acts like my newest addition. Theodore is 4 months old and weights a whopping SIX AND A HALF POUNDS. His brother Frank is a graceful boy who eats slowly and takes his time, so when Theodore finishes twice as fast it leaves poor Frank having to defend his food. This slow feeder has allowed Frank to once again eat in peace. Theodore of course hates having to pace himself but it works. The quality is great and it’s sturdy enough so he can’t flip it over to get his food faster. Overall the value is great to not have to micromanage cats for every meal.

I love the sturdiness of this silicone feeder. I have had others that are so flimsy they spill easily when carrying and when my dogs eat from them. I with the outer lip was just a little bit higher because I got this specifically for my messiest/fastest eater. He still rarely spill, but I like to add water to his food for more hydration and the low lip limits the amount I can add. The eat-ability is great, he is able to get almost every last morsel out of this bowl, while still slowing him down to a safe and healthy speed. Occasionally some tiny bits get stuck in the corner tips of the diamond shapes, but is fairly easily rinsed or scrubbed out. I think he prefers to eat out of this as opposed to a regular bowl even though it takes longer. I love how fictional these are, they are so easy …

Great for slow feeding my little dog. She is able to eat it a little faster than I’d like (that’s why I’m giving this 4 stars), but otherwise a great bowl. I like how it sticks to the ground. My dog only eats 1/4 cup twice a day and it has plenty of room for more food. I also like that it doesn’t damage her teeth as she eats like the plastic bowls.

Our cat never met a puzzle she couldn't solve or anything she couldn't adapt to. You could change her dish, her food, and the room it's served in, several times a day, and she'd dive right in without hesitation. We have a Puzzle Hall of Shame of defeated dishes and toys that we regularly donate from. She also eats her food like Fantastic Mr. Fox. (If you haven't seen this classic scene, look it up on YouTube.) And she might then eject it. Thus the food puzzles. The last food puzzle we had was a ceramic slow feeder that she solved in seconds, but it slowed her scarfing just enough to keep it down. However, "slowing down" merely meant going from Hyper Speed to Warp Speed, and we were afraid that she'd chip a tooth on the hard surface with her frantic chowing.Conversely, this OHMO feeder is …
