Used this to replace the reverb tank in an old Tech21 Trademark 10 amp... took ~5 minutes to swap this in.Obviously hard to know how this compares to the original reverb tank that was in the amp.. to the best of my memory, this has very similar sound and looking 'under the hood' at both tanks side by side, they appear almost identical (btw, I couldn't visually see anything wrong with the original). The MOD tank has sort of 50's surf rock kind of sound... think "Walk Don't Run"..Definitely pleased, reverb is back and installation was simpleThank you -

MOD makes excellent Reverb Tanks. This was a perfect match for my Monoprice Stage Right 15-Watt Tube Amplifier.It has improved the "drippy" sound that the stock tank was missing.If you have been looking to upgrade, this WILL work.

I used this reverb tank as a replacement for the stock Accutronics / Benton tank in a 2012 Vox AC15C1-BL.To summarize how this sounds in comparison to the stock tank, the Mod tank has more volume on the front end of the echo and a faster decay on the tail end of the echo. It sounds much "closer" to the dry signal than the sound of the stock tank, which tended to sound a bit detached from the dry signal. Lots of users online say this makes it "more usable". I find that it is more usable in the sense that the faster taper profile of the echo makes it so the reverb signal doesn't interfere with the dry signal as much.This does NOT mean that this tank will be a super prominent, wet, drippy Fender reverb tank sound. The "Ruby" reverb tank that comes in the Fender Blues Junior is a huge disappointment, shrill and tinny and useful only below about "3". The first went into a Fender Frontman 65R.....Of the reviews I've read on the Frontman 65R people said changing the reverb tank would not make any improvement on the weak sounding reverb this amp has.....well it made a night and day difference. I now have as much reverb as I want out of the amp, before barely anything now I can have a full fledged surf sound at around 6 on the dial...It actually has much more than I would ever need above 6 but it sure beats not having any range at all....The second one I bought went into a blues Jr, the cream board model. An amp I bought used, sight unseen arrived in wonderful condition with one exception. The reverb tank's input and output jacks were damaged by the earlier owner stuffing things in the bottom of the amp. Both were ruined and could not be repaired. When are people going to realize an amp is NOT a suitcase? Now I needed to replace that tank....MOD has a good reputation and I've used many of their items in the past.
